My goal is to help you become a better songwriter and improve your songs. Critiques are individual and specific to your song. My critiques are always objective and positive in nature, helping to cultivate a nurturing experience.

I am always looking for the gold in your song, understanding where the song is well written and where it could use improvement. I will work with you from that point to help build and make your song emote and emerge.

Written critiques are valuable. Along with general comments, I look for what is working in your song. I point to these successful parts so you can be proud of your craft. I go through the lyric – line by line – with the perspective of a listener. If the recording is of human creation, I can comment on it. I prefer not to critique robot output. Critiques are valuable to your songwriting process.
